Run Junkie is an indoor running studio based in West London. They are the first studio to utilise the Skill Mill, a curved treadmill powered only by you. They have taken the simplicity and effectiveness of running outside and made it into a fun, invigorating and inspiring full body workout.
Run Junkie required branding that reflected their energetic and charismatic attitude to exercise. Bold colours, unique typography and the creation of the brands own set of smilies, ensured the identity system had just the right amount of fun.
The logotype has been drawn to mirror itself with the R and J being identical characters, when joined these characters make a perfect loop, which reflects the concept of a running track and the belt on the non-motorised treadmills. When separated the r and j connotate eyes and can be used to create a varied icon system for Run Junkie. As a distinctive graphic palette, giant colour blobs that overlay one another have been used, when the shapes overlap they create a new colour and this colour is the reflection of the feeling and energy a Run Junkie class can provide.
Run junkie will be launching with a two-week pop - up in Lululemon in Marleybone, London.
